The poem you are about to read was composed by my 14 year-old daughter. It was inspired by Eleanor Roosevelt’s quote that no can make you feel inferior unless you let them. I hope this poem will inspire you.
None Can…
None can take a man’s will, but anyone can hurt it
None can take a man’s happiness, but anyone can stall it
None can take a man’s thought, but anyone can influence it
None can take a man’s soul, but anyone can lead it
None can take a man’s motivation, but anyone can hinder it
None can take a man’s heart, but anyone can harden it
None can take a man’s dignity, but anyone can lower it
None can take a man’s passion, but anyone can change it
None can take from a man, what man does not give to him.
