Sarah Klein, Tom Mason and their Documentary on Ken Burns

Ken Burns is perhaps the most famous documentary filmmaker in the world. He’s so famous, Apple named an iMovie feature after him. So imagine the trepidation one might have if they were to make a documentary starring Ken Burns himself? Well, imagine no longer. Today we have Sarah Klein and Tom Mason of Redglass Pictures. They recently released a personal project called “Ken Burns: On Story.” It’s a short piece featuring the auteur sharing his thoughts about the storytelling process. (See below). This video is another fantastic example of a personal project getting huge exposure for its creators. (The video was picked up and featured on The Atlantic). In this short but sweet episode we learn about how Sara and Tom scored such a great project, and how they schedule passion projects like this into their already busy production schedule.
