Most of the guests we have on the show are experts in what they do. For years they’ve honed their craft and risen to the top of their industry. Today however we have a self-described “rookie.” Someone who still counts himself as a “beginner.” So why then is this noob on my show? Perhaps for the same reason he was able to convince the likes of Patrick Moreau and StillMotion to become story consultants on the film he’s directing. It’s an inspirational documentary about complacency: people who for whatever reason have not pursued their passion. When you hear this interview, and see the trailer below, you’ll know why I invited him on.
If you’ve ever had a dream you wanted to achieve, this will be a film you’ll want to see.
As of the taping of this show, they were at $68,000 (out of $100,000) in raising money on Kickstarter. Now just four days later (and seven days to go) they are at $90,000. Will they make it? Maybe your contribution will make the difference. Check it out.
Filmed by a make shift crew of five filmmaking friends, I’m Fine, Thanks is a new, feature-length documentary about complacency. It’s a collection of stories about life, the choices we all make, and the paths we ultimately decide to follow. We examine the factors that motivate and drive our major life choices. And, most importantly, whether or not the path we follow through life – and the habits we form based on that path – are truly connected with who we really are as individuals. This is a movie about the moment people realize the life they’re living is not the life that’s true to their heart… and, as a result, what they decide to do about it!
