Many people get into this with the hope and dreams of one day going to Hollywood. Until they get there, they do what they can in the business to earn a living at it. For many, the business they start is wedding videography. But how many times do you hear about someone already in Hollywood, working on big budget TV shows like CSI, JAG, and Felicity, then leaving that world to shoot weddings. I only know of one such person. And he’s today’s guest, Joth Riggs.
Joth is a registered Assistant Director in the Director’s Guild of America. He’s also an award-winning wedding and event filmmaker. Today we learn about how he went from AD-ing big budget Hollywood movies and TV shows, to shooting weddings, and what brough him back to being an AD. This episode has great tips on getting into “Hollywood.”
This show is co-produced by Dan Rollins of LiveWire Films.
