Hailey Bartholomew on Crossing the 180 #95

haileybartholomewIf you are in need of inspiration in a major dose, this is the episode for you. Today we have a guest who admittedly is not an expert on all the “tech stuff.” Yet, her passion, her eye and her craft has led her to creating beautiful work that has now been gotten her commercial director gigs, international acclaim, and her very first documentary short has now been featured on the Today show and garnered nearly 1/2 million views in just a month. The filmmaker is Hailey Bartholomew who hails from down under. I was able to catch Hailey while she was still in the states after her creativeLIVE course she taught. She shares how a “home movie” she entered into a video contest led to the career she has today. And learn about the making of the powerful and moving documentary of the cancer patient Jill Brzezinsky.

This show is co-produced by Dan Rollins of LiveWire Films. The music used in this week’s sponsor segments was “End Inevitable” graciously provided by Clocks and Clouds from their album “The Creation of Matter.” Learn more about their unique fusion of classical music and rock instrumentals and www.clocksandcloudsmusic.com. They are a great source for indie filmmakers to get amazing and unique music for your productions.
